Following Jaehyun's 'NCT', Cha Eun Woo co-wrote a letter of apology for gathering during the Corona pandemic. He uploaded the statement on ASTRO's official Twitter account.

Through his statement, Cha Eun Woo said he was sorry for doing things that should not have been done when many people were still struggling against the Corona virus.

"Many medical staff and residents worked hard to fight COVID-19. I also participated in the 'Thank You' challenge. So I am very sorry for gathering with my friends in restaurants and bars in Itaewon without keeping a distance," said Cha Eun Woo

"I'm sorry for disappointing the fans who trusted me and supported me. I also apologize to the members, management, and everyone around me," he continued.

Going forward, Cha Eun Woo promises to change. He promised to think more carefully.

"Understanding the price of the support many people give me, I will be a person who thinks and acts more carefully. Once again, I apologize for making many people worry," he concluded.

Previously, Dispactch released 4 K-Pop idol names that violated the rules of keeping distance in the middle of the Corona pandemic. Jaehyun 'NCT', Jungkook 'BTS', Mingyu 'SEVENTEEN', and Cha Eun Woo 'ASTRO' are said to gather at a number of bars and restaurants in Itaewon.

A week later, a positive patient was found who visited the bar in Itaewon. This incident opened a new cluster, and reportedly more than 100 people were infected. (dal / tia)
