TXT is often lined up as the media's favorite monthly boy group in Korea. Outperforming SEVENTEEN, even BTS.

Summarizing from various sources, Saturday (19/6/2021), TXT is a boy group formed by BigHit Entertainment. It consists of five members, namely Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai.

The group debuted on March 4, 2019 with the release of The Dream Chapter: Star. After releasing the music video for their debut single, Crown, the group set a new record for the most viewed K-Pop debut music video in 24 hours.

A week after the release of their debut album, TXT topped the Billboard Emerging Artists, World Albums, and World Digital Song Sales charts.

In addition, the single Crown also took the first position on the Billboard 200 chart. This achievement made them the fastest K-Pop group to appear on the charts and the debut album with the highest position.

In April 2019, the group then announced a concert tour to the United States. Their invasion of Uncle Sam's land was labeled very successful because the tickets for the show sold out in less than 24 hours.

TXT's success was confirmed by being in first place on the Oricorn chart this week. Their latest studio album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE managed to rack up 77,000 sales from June 7 to 13, 2021.

This achievement brought TXT to the top of the charts with four consecutive albums. Starting with The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY, minisode1: Blue Hour, the Japanese album Still Dreaming, and now The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.

TXT is the fourth foreign artist in Oricorn history to ever topped the weekly album chart with four consecutive albums. Following in the footsteps of Mariah Carey who became the first artist to achieve the feat in November 1998, and SEVENTEEN in September 2020.
