Actor Hrithik Roshan is still impressed by the success of the film War which hit the box office two years ago. Hrithik even tweeted a message along with the film poster to celebrate the film's success.
“Missed everything from set to collaboration, CREATING. #2YearsOfWar,” he wrote in the Times of India, Saturday (2/10/2021).
The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, was released in 2019. According to Hrithik, the director was very good at influencing him to want to read the War script.
"It's very complicated, when I read the script I didn't see anything that appealed to me. The script looks frivolous and shallow. At that time, I was very interested in other films," said Hrithik.
Hearing this, the director rushed to Hrithik's house and asked for five minutes to re-explain the film review. This method makes this 47-year-old man enjoy the story of the film War and realize his stupidity.
“Sometimes, it is very important to know how the director interprets the content of the script. I can believe what they say," he said.
Thanks to the success of the film War, Hrithik will be working with Siddharth Anand again for his next film titled Fighter. She will be playing the role of Deepika Padukone for the first time in a film.
