The Emmy winner exclusively told PEOPLE that he drew inspiration for his villain from Christoph Waltz in 'Inglourious Basterds' and Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka
Emma Corrin is a chameleon on the red carpet.
On Monday, July 22, at the world premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, Corrin (who uses "they/them") arrived in an apple costume. bold, no pants.
Most know Corrin, 28, as the modestly dressed young Princess Diana in The Crown. However, they turned heads in a strapless, high-cut, trimmed black bodysuit paired with a pair of sheer black tights.
The Emmy winner completed her look with a black fur scarf draped around her neck. French Finish the look with a pair of black patent leather pointed-toe heels with scalloped detailing.

The outfit is elevated by its dark and brooding charm. Corrin wore her signature pixie hairstyle slicked back with bangs swept back over her forehead. Corrin's jet-black pixie cut is a striking departure from her blonde bob as the late Princess Diana and her bald look as MCU villain Cassandra Nova.
The contemplative looks don't stop there; Corrin's makeup look included a black and burgundy smoky eye that accented her dark burgundy lipstick - and a black manicure.
Corrin minimizes accessories to attract all eyes to the outfit. The French They wore a triple diamond tennis bracelet, a unique diamond wedding band and a pair of intricate diamond drop earrings.

At Monday's event, Corrin spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about the costumes and physical transformations they endured in the latest Deadpool movie.
“I mean, I wear a bald cap,” they tell PEOPLE. “Basically, they only have so much time to do their hair and makeup, that's it,” adding that they also have long prosthetic fingers.
They explain that they “can't do anything during the day.
“It's been great for my screen time. They joked: "Going to the bathroom alone isn't really convenient." “I always have someone with me. That was humiliating. They noted that the character in Quentin Tarantino's film was Ryan Reynolds' reference to the character during production.
The My Policeman actor added that they were "really inspired from Gene's Willy Wonka Wilder," adding, “Somehow an indifferent, detached powerhouse”
