Comedian Narji now spends much time farming. That hobby was lived before the Corona virus pandemic.
Initially, Narji planted and cared for various ornamental plants in his home.
"If farming is not because of Corona, from the first. Like the ornamental tree nanem, like to his house Wendy brought antorium plants," Narji said on Trans TV Brownis, Tuesday (5/19/2020).
From ornamental plants, Narji continued his hobby of gardening into vegetables and fruits. For him, this is a solution when daily needs are expensive.
"Right now in the middle like this, the need for carbohydrate vegetables like cassava is difficult. There are expensive lemongrass seasonings, you know, when Corona started up to Rp. 70,000," he said.
Narji had no difficulty finding land to grow crops. He used the empty land from the garbage dump behind his house.
"Well, I don't know the feeling from a long time ago, about six months ago, we woke up our sleeping land, I flushed it," he added.
The land is big enough. Now, residents around the house are also empowered to grow crops.
"About 2,500 meters, instead of sleeping we wake up. Now we have some who bought it, the money is for farmers, neighbors," he concluded. (fbr / imk)
