Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began paying the Frogmore Cottage renovation fees. That was their home while still living in Windsor, England.
Reported by People, Tuesday (05/19/2020), this is the realization of their second promise before withdrawing from the royal family and leaving England. The total cost of renovations they have to return is worth 3 million dollars.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's financial arrangements would not be made public. Meanwhile a spokesman for the couple also declined to comment.
Frogmore Cottage renovation funds actually come from the British citizen tax. Therefore, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle promised to return everything after no longer living there.

The couple did not immediately replace the renovation costs at once but through installments. Both also paid Frogmore Cottage rental fees even though they no longer live there.
Frogmore Cottage has been the home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since April 2019. They lived there when the child, Archie, was born.
Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled in Los Angeles. They are believed to not be returning to England anytime soon.
