The former member of "Riverdale" is already a mother to her 3-year-old son River, whom she and her ex-husband Michael Kopech share.
Vanessa Morgan's family will soon be growing!
The 32-year-old Riverdale alumna revealed on Saturday, July 6, via an Instagram post that she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, James Karnik. Morgan disclosed in the caption that the baby is expected to arrive "this month."
She shared a set of images from an outdoor photo session with Karnik, 25, to reveal her pregnancy.
In many of the pictures, the Canadian professional basketball player and Wild Cards star are dressed casually, with her donning jeans and a white sweater. In some of the photos, her baby bump is visible as the two of them caress it.
"We're expecting a family of four this month. 🤰🏽#2 🫶🏽 Surprise! I'm so in love with this man! "Thank you, God," Morgan wrote in the caption.
A number of her former co-stars from Riverdale left comments on the post. Lili Reinhart wrote, "Sweet Angel ❤️❤️❤️❤️," while Camila Mendes added two emojis to express her support.

This is the first child that Morgan and Karnik have shared. The actress and her ex-husband Michael Kopech have a 3-year-old son named River.
When Morgan first started motherhood, in November 2021, she talked to PEOPLE about the parenting advice she received from her former costar on Riverdale, Mark Consuelos, and his wife, Kelly Ripa.
She stated at the time, "I spoke with Kelly [and Mark] after I gave birth [to River]." "They gave me gorgeous, gorgeous baby clothes for River, and they were just so excited for me."
According to her, 53-year-old Ripa also offered a useful advice for recovering from a C-section.
"Yeah, you might still feel pain for up to a year," and other such statements were all she told me. Therefore, speaking with someone else who has experienced it was pleasant. She has helped me heal in that way with some excellent advice," Morgan recalled. /people.com
